Houston Grand Opera opens nominations for awards

December 11, 2012 by

The Houston Grand Opera is in its seventh year of hosting the Ovation Awards and will once again present the ceremony in March, 2013. The Ovation distinction awards young leaders in Houston who lead the efforts in philanthropic and charitable projects. Previous award winners have had a substantial impact in the Houston community in championing worthwhile projects and causes, providing benefits for the city.

Nominations are currently being accepted for candidates for this prestigious award. Nominations are open to the public for the Ovation Award. The finalists and winners are selected from the nominee pool that will be accumulated over the next few weeks. A special event hosted by HGO’s O.N. for Young Professionals will present the awards.

Frequently, local printing companies are asked to assist in providing print services, including flyer printing, to help promote award ceremonies and publicity relating to the events. Flyers are usually produced in large quantities as they can be easily distributed or displayed in public areas. Flyers attract attention and can be distributed through various outlets and sources as well.

Catalog printing is also a common print project for award events as catalogs normally list the nominee names and their related information, the event agenda, and time slots. Sponsors are usually recognized in catalogs as well.

Nominations may be submitted via the online form found on the Houston Grand Opera website. The website is a good place to look for further information, or the customer service office can be reached at 713-546-0200.
