Houston awaits annual Julydoscope celebrations

The 3rd Annual Julydoscope 2013 is scheduled for this weekend, and will take place at the Anheuser-Busch stage at Discovery Green in the downtown area of Houston, Texas.

The event is made up of art, film, and dance, with many high-energy performances. Additionally, a showing of Hairspray, the original 1988 performance, will be shown. Starring as a teenager with the infamous big hair of the decade, Ricki Lake played Tracy Turnblad. Inspired by the Broadway play, the film is rated PG.

Various dance companies will be performing, including Samskriti, Frame Dance, Meca, Impande Ye Africa, and Freneticore. The event is family-friendly and admission is free.

Many sponsors participate and contribute to this event, including Houston Cinema Arts Society, QFest, TUTS, dancesourcehouston, and the Houston Arts Alliance. Sponsorships are important to ensure financial support for events that do not charge for admission.

Large events such as this type generally require printing services for their promotional materials. Flyer printing is a frequent request, as they can be printed in full or limited color, on one side or both, and can be printed economically en masse. The flyers can be mailed, manually distributed, or posted arounf high traffic areas.

The Houston Cinema Arts Society is a non-profit organization and exists to host various performances dedicated to celebrate and preserve artistic culture. A main goal is to enrich the community.
