Friendship Night comes in at Minute Maid Park

March 29, 2014 by

The Japan-America Friendship Night will take place next month at Minute Maid Park in Houston. The New York Yankees will play the Houston Astros featuring Japanese baseball players Ichiro Suzuki, Hiroki Kuroda, and Masahiro Tanaka.

It was stated by the Yankees’ manager that it was “pretty safe to say” that Masahiro Tanaka would make his first season start in the year’s third game, and that game takes place in Houston.

In recognition of this significant event, April 3 has been deemed Japan-America Friendship Night at Minute Maid Park. Tickets are being offered to JASH members at a discount.

Special events like this are frequently advertised through poster printing services offered by local print companies. Posters are generally produced in full color with a shiny gloss finish for the best presentation. They can be mounted throughout the city in areas with heavy foot traffic to quickly attract attention and hopefully increase interest.

The Japan-America Society of Houston has been in existence for more than 40 years, providing promotion and understanding of the Japanese culture. The organization presents many annual events, including the Ladies Luncheon, the Japan Festival, and the Japanese Language Speech Contest. Cultural events, language classes, and a regular series of lectures are also part of the society’s programs.

The Friendship Night at Minute Maid Park game will take place on April 3 beginning at 7:10 pm. Ticket information is available via the entity’s website.
