Fencetech Conference Opens in Houston

January 28, 2013 by

The Fencetech Conference will take place at Houston’s George R. Brown Convention Center, located on Avenida de las Americas, and is now less than a month away. Fencetech is presented by the American Fence Association and is an annual event.

Ranked as one of the leading security fencing and deck-manufacturing trade shows, Fencetech usually draws over 4,500 attendees. Professionals from all facets of the fencing industry enjoy the opportunity to network and discuss new information, technology, and best practices.

Leading contractors, manufacturers, and distributors will be in attendance, many of them exhibiting. Over 300 exhibitors are expected to participate this year, displaying a variety of products and services. Gate operating tools, chain linking methods, fencing accessories, access control mechanisms, and other related products will be on display. Home and garden items will also be included in the exhibition.

Keynote presenters have been scheduled for both days. Wednesday Chief Richard Picciotto will present, followed by Captain Jim Lovell of Apollo 13 on Thursday. Industry related certification programs and other educational forums will also be offered at the conference.

The American Fence Association (AFA) will host a booth offering association and industry information along with prizes and raffles. The AFA is comprised of industry business members along with supporting companies.

Catalog printing is a frequent project for local print companies as requested by conference management companies. Catalogs contain a great deal of pertinent information relating to the event including participating companies, sponsors, seminars, exhibitor locations, and other helpful information. Attendees typically obtain a catalog upon arrival at the event and can refer to it throughout the day.
