Da Camera presents 2013 performance schedule
January 28, 2013 by Sarah
Da Camera Chamber Music and Jazz, located in Houston, has released the February free program schedule presented by Da Camera Young Artists.
Concerts of substance are a key initiative of the Da Camera group, while offering a variety of musical genres and styles. Founded in 1987, Da Camera has provided a strong and continuous commitment to education and community outreach programs. It has drawn attention both nationally and internationally, while sustaining great attendance at the events.
February will kick off the free performance schedule with ‘A Little Day Music’ on February 6 at 6:00 pm at the Wortham Theatre Center. This program, sponsored by Center Point Energy, will continue the series on the first Wednesday of each month through May.
The Da Camera programs frequently enlist participation from renowned musical entities including Houston Symphony, Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music, and the University of Houston’s Moores School.
Some of the funders for the organization include Kinder Morgan Foundation, The Cullen Trust for the Performing Arts, Target, United Airlines, and the Houston Endowment.
Frequently, musical performance companies will contact local printing companies to supply announcement and promotional materials. As posters present an affordable and broad range of promotional opportunities, poster printing is a traditional order. Posters can be mounted on pillars, displayed in windows, distributed, or mailed. They also make a nice souvenir for show attendees.
