Clay Walker to host Band Against MS Ride

January 25, 2013 by

Founded by internationally famous multi-platinum country singer Clay Walker, the Band Against MS Ride will take place next weekend in Houston.

The event provides a day of bike riding fun throughout the scenic roads and offers ride options including 25, 45, or 62 mile courses. Walker has been battling multiple sclerosis successfully since 1996.

Proceeds from the event benefit will benefit Band Against MS, which is a non-profit organization designed to provide education, research, support, and encouragement for individuals living with multiple sclerosis.

The ride will begin at the Houston Oaks Country Club and Family Sports Retreat, which consists of 400 acres of oak trees and gorgeous countryside. Each route will provide food, hydration, and any needed assistance. The ride will also conclude at the Houston Oaks Country Club.

Included within the registration is a meal consisting of a baked potato bar, dessert, lemonade, or iced tea. Entertainment will be provided by DunVill and The Buck Yeager Band, along with a special appearance by Clay Walker.

Events of this structure typically utilize the services of printing companies to provide needed materials for promotion and execution of the activities. Poster printing is an effective method of promoting an event far in advance to generate interest and boost participation. Posters can be hung in different locations as well as mailed or hand-distributed. They also make a nice souvenir.

The Clay Walker website contains information about the Band Against MS Ride foundation as well as other information about Walker’s initiatives, musical career, and planned events. This upcoming event will take place on Saturday, February 2.
