Chilies to heat up Houston

August 27, 2012 by

For years, the Red Hot Chili Peppers has been both inspiration and a favorite amongst music lovers everywhere. During the band’s tour this year, it will be stopping at the Houston Toyota Center to take Houstonians on a fantastic musical journey that can only be described as a once in a lifetime opportunity.

With songs based on love, sadness, anger, and just having fun, it has become the one of the nation’s most listened to artists in the late 20th and the 21st century, as its unmistakable rock with a funk twist continues to grab listeners by the ear.

If previous Chilies performances are anything to go by, Houston Toyota Center is likely to explode with a cacophony of screams and shouts as the band bursts onto the stage, along with special guest Thundercat, who plays during the same show. Tickets sold out minutes after they were announced but there are many radio stations across the Houston area that are hosting a variety of call-in contests with the tickets, as well as VIP passes, as rewards. Poster printing services are likely to be called in continuously as the band’s marketing director will probably be trying to advertise as much of the show as possible.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Thundercat are scheduled to play at the Houston Toyota Center on October 20. The doors open at 6:30 pm and the show is scheduled to begin at 7:30 pm. For more information, please visit the Houston Toyota Center homepage.
