The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, a tradition in Texas since 1932, is a three-week rodeo taking place in Houston this spring. There will be 20 championship events and competitions in the Livestock Show and Rodeo this year.

Rodeo participants will come into the town and set up their camps in Memorial Park. The event will kick-off with a Rodeo Parade and will have a star-studded line-up of celebrities including Brad Paisley, Reba, and Keith Urban.

Originally organized as charitable event offering educational and scientific activities, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has grown to be one the most substantial events in the state each year. Promoting livestock breeding and raising is a key focus, as is growing superior farm products. Scholarships and educational endowments are funded through the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Over $350m has been pledged by the show for its various causes.

Poster printing is a frequent project for local print companies when events such as rodeos are planned. A full color poster is readily seen by passersby when mounted on a flat surface in high traffic areas. The purpose of a poster is to create awareness and increase interest. Ideally, attendance is enhanced by the poster marketing efforts.

The rodeo will take place from March 4 – 24. For more information, visit the event website.
