The Dash Down Greenville 5K will take place in Greenville this March. Spectators can plan to view the sea of green as the Dash Down Greenville takes place at the Central Market area on Greenville Avenue and Lovers Lane.
The event is scheduled for March 15 beginning at 8:00 AM, and is themed around St. Patrick’s Day in celebration of the special Irish holiday. A record number of attendees is expected this year with most donning green attire and walking or running the route.
After the 5K is completed a parade will take place. Also included in the festival fun is food, a live band, beer and cash prizes.
Proceeds from this event benefit the North Texas Food Bank, a highly ranked non-profit organization. The entity leads the efforts to fight hunger through knowledge and strategic programs. The programs encompass distribution of donated and purchased food covering 13 counties.
The North Texas Food Bank provides research, advocacy, and education through strategic partnerships. Founded in 1982, the entity has grown to the point where just a year ago NTFB was able to provide access to over 47 meals.
Flyer printing is a useful method to provide inexpensive communication to the region and surrounding neighborhoods about upcoming events. The flyers should contain the basic information and be eye-catching to attract fast attention. They can be hand distributed or direct mailed in advance the event.
