Greenville to welcome stalwart of country music

Merle Haggard, a country legend, has been scheduled to perform at the Greenville Municipal Auditorium (GMA) this summer, and tickets just recently went on sale. The GMA, in partnership with United Way of Hunt County, will coordinate and present the event.

Haggard has entertained millions of people over his multi-decade career. He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1994 after winning every award possible. His music represents a kid of unpretentious poetry, having made a mark on American music as well as the country genre.

Opening for Haggard will be John David Kent, a relative newcomer on the music scene but rising quickly to extreme popularity. He is currently enjoying his third consecutive Top 20 single on the charts in Texas. His shows are full of high energy and always leave the audience wanting to hear more.

Marketing musical concerts and performances usually entails the use of printing services for poster and flyer printing. Posters are usually hung throughout the region to attract attention and develop interest, while flyers are distributed through various methods, including direct mail and manual distribution.

Prices range from $45 to $65 and tickets may be purchased at the GMA or online. Doors open for the performance at 7:00 pm on June 20.
