Greenville will present an opportunity for residents and visitors to learn how to live healthy, save money, produce energy, and live an earth-friendly life at the 2nd annual Sustainability Fair.
The event will present speakers on various topics related to sustainability, including renewable energy, organic gardening, and transportation. There will be demonstrations and exhibitors. Other relevant topics presented will include use of earthen and natural building materials and permaculture.
As there is a large expo planned, there are vendor space openings in various categories, some of which include selling farm-fresh foods, natural energy efficient building, renewable transportation, sustainable food growing, renewable energy, homesteading, rainwater harvesting, and local crafters and artisans.
Print companies often work with vendors in preparing materials needed for exhibiting at events like this. Banner and flyer printing are frequent requests, because each vendor booth or space needs signage to depict who they are and what they have to offer. Flyers can be distributed from each booth to build brand and product awareness to ideally produce business for the vendors in the future.
The event is hosted by the Friends of the Farmers Market organization. The volunteer group’s goal is to nurture a healthy Farmers’ Market and support the local farmers, as well as the community. The group sponsors various seasonal events and works to ensure that items sold at the market have been grown or actually produced by the vendor and that no re-selling takes place.
The event will take place on October 19 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.
