Annual Greenville event likely to attract thousands

April is set to be busy month in Greenville, with a focus on automobiles dominating the agenda.

From April 5 – 7, Greenville will host the 14th Annual Swap Meet and Car Show. The Northeast Texas Region of the AACA began the Greenville Swap Meet in 2000 and it has grown from a small meet to one comprising over 350 vendors today. Vendors are the most important feature of the swap meet segment of the event, as they offer useful items such as auto parts, accessories, and tools. Covered spaces with electrical outlets, as well as outside vendor spaces, are available. Vendors will have access on April 4 after 1:00 pm to move in and set up their areas.

Local printing companies often work with vendors in handling business card printing orders. As vendors normally work with many shows and display their wares throughout the year, they typically like to hand out business cards to generate future business. Many vendors have storefronts, as well, where business cards come in quite handy.

The 8th Annual Greenville Car Show will take place on April 6 at Hunt County Fairgrounds. The first 75 entrants will receive dash plaques. A 50/50 raffle, along with door prizes, will take place at the event. Class trophies for first and second place winners will be awarded. Prizes for Best of Show Car and Best of Show Truck will also be issued.

Registration for the car show event is from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm. The voting will take place from noon until 1:00 pm, with awards at 3:00 pm.
