Funky Finds: A Holiday Shopping Experience in Fort Worth
November 3, 2012 by James
Billing itself as the “funkiest indie art and craft show around”, the Funky Finds holiday shopping experience event will bring lots of great browsing and buying opportunities to Forth Worth November 10 and 11. In addition, pets are welcome to join in the shopping spree.
The event consists of artists and designers featuring hand-crafted items such as candles, ceramics, pottery, clothing, food, accessories, art, jewelry, pet goods, and photography.
The event will also hold a raffle with approximately 150 swag bags with proceeds benefiting Toys for Tots and the Humane Society of North Texas. Unwrapped toys are most welcome as they will be donated to Toys for Tots. For each unwrapped toy provided, a free raffle ticket will be awarded.
Pet adoptions will also be available at the event and food donations are encouraged. Either dry or canned food of any brand is most welcome and needed to help feed animals in need in the community.
Funky Finds takes place at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in the Amon G Carter Exhibits Building, located at 3400 Burnett-Tandy Drive in Fort Worth.
Craft shows and fundraising events often call upon local printing companies to provide merchandising materials to help promote and direct the events. Banner printing is an important part of setting up an event as banners are used to not only advertise but to also direct attention and traffic to specific areas of the event. Business card printing is common, too, for the vendors to have available at each booth to help promote future business.
The Funky Finds website has complete visitor and vendor information available.
