Fort Worth’s Fourth scheduled

March 27, 2013 by

An annual event, Fort Worth’s Fourth is a celebration of the 4th of July. It will takes place along the Trinity River this year at Panther Island Pavilion and features live music, family activities, and beautiful fireworks displays.

This year’s event will be extra special as it is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the partnership Fort Worth International Sister Cities has with the City of Nagoaka, Japan. As firework shows are huge in Japan, Fort Worth residents and visitors will enjoy a spectacular show like never before seen in the area.

Participants should bring blankets and lawn chairs to Panther Island Pavilion. Leading up to the fireworks, there will be many activities. Tubing is a fun event in which children and parents can travel along the Trinity River. There will also be a Kids’ Zone offering many activities for children of all ages, including a bounce house.

Presenting a large community event of this type requires good management and coordination. It is also important to market the event successfully to ensure great attendance. This can be accomplished by using printing services from local print companies.

Flyer printing serves as an economical, as well as effective, method of announcing an upcoming event. Flyers are generally printed on one side and hand-distributed or mailed to a targeted database. They also serve as a memento of the event.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Coolers are allowed but not outside alcohol. Free water will be available at the event, as it is important to stay hydrated in the hot weather that time of year.
