Fort Worth to see the light in a month’s time

As the holiday season approaches, residents and visitors in Fort Worth are sure to be looking forward to the Chesapeake Energy Parade of Lights. The event will be presented by CHASE and includes many activities for the whole family.

Presented by XTO Energy, the Holiday Fun Zone will form part of the entertainment, taking place in General Worth Square between 8th and 9th Streets along Main Street. Activities will include holiday craft making for children, entertainment, merchandise, and food provided by local restaurants.

Volunteers dressed as Cowboy Santas will be collecting toys at the Holiday Fun Zone, which will be distributed to children throughout the county for families with limited or no income. Donated toys should be unwrapped and must be new. The toy distribution is a tradition in Fort Worth and has taken effect for 30 years.

Banner printing for outdoor events is a common order for print companies, as banners are used for directional purposes as well as communication. They also have the purpose of highlighting areas within a venue, as well as in vendor booths.

The Fort Worth Parade of Lights is scheduled for November 29. The local transit company is providing shuttle service to and from the event from strategic points within the city. The shuttle service is free and convenient, eliminating the hassle of parking.

The parade will start at 6:00 pm at the corners of Belknap and Throckmorton Street, proceeding east through the area onto 9th Street and ending on Weatherford Street.
