Dates announced for next year’s Beastro

December 13, 2013 by

Fort Worth Zoo’s annual Beastro will take place in June in the upcoming year. The eighth annual event will include a tasting event and music offering a family-friendly event.

The best restaurants in the city will come out to support the conservation and educational resources for the zoo by participating in a tasting event. Featuring appetizers, entrees, and delicious desserts, the park will also have open bars with plenty of live music and entertainment.

Companies are invited to sponsor an event at the zoo and gain exposure via the event signage, advertising materials and collateral, website inclusion, and other marketing efforts. Frequently banner printing is handled to include sponsor recognition.

Banners are printed on heavy vinyl material and are sturdy enough to be used indoors or outdoors, and can withstand inclement weather. They are generally hung high in the air and are designed to attract attention quickly.

The zoo is the oldest in Texas, founded in 1909, and began with just one lion, an alligator, a coyote, two bear cubs, a peacock, and some rabbits. Today, the zoo has broadened things somewhat and has over 7,000 exotic and native animals and is ranked as a national facility.

Supporting the Fort Worth Zoo enables several programs to be offered to the public, some of which include camps, field trips, home schooling, and student and teacher activities. The Beastro is a major contributor to the funding and will take place on June 13, 2014. Visit the website for complete details.
