Date released for the Warren Center fundraiser

April 13, 2012 by

After much anticipation, the date has finally been released for the 19th yearly fundraising event for The Warren Center, based in Dallas Texas. Every year the Fantasy Football Draft Night takes place to raise money for the center, which supports children with disabilities and developmental differences. The big day is set for September 7, 2012.

The fundraising event will be held at the Cowboys Stadium, Arlington, where Scott Murray will appear as Master of Ceremonies. A variety of valuable prizes are waiting to be won, including tickets to the New Orleans Super Bowl in 2013, a silent auction, and Dallas Cowboys season tickets for 2013. The event is hugely popular each year which is probably due to marketing efforts, using local printing services for flyers and posters.

Children from birth to the age of three years old and their families benefit from the funds raised at the annual event. Around 1400 children are helped to improve social skills, cognition, speech, feeding, and much more every year, thanks to the Warren Center.

The center provides a range of services for children and their families. Therapists and specialists are provided to aide childhood development, along with help for sight, speech and hearing impairment. Parents are offered training sessions, in addition to support groups which are led by professionals. Parents are also helped to locate much needed resources and gain access to them. The 2011 fundraising event raised more than $200,000, all of which benefited children and their families at The Warren Center.
