December 7, 2012 by Mark
The first annual 2012 Wonderland Fashion Show has been scheduled in the Houston/Conroe region and will be presented by The Little Black Book Magazine. It will take place this evening, December 7, from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm at the Houston Garden Center.
There will be six designers presenting three clothing items reflecting the theme of “Alexander McQueen meets Alice in Wonderland.”
An after party is planned, inviting designers, models, and VIP guests to participate in a presentation of a check resulting from the proceeds of the event to the Covenant House Texas.
The Covenant House Texas is a nonprofit entity that was established in 1983, providing shelter for homeless people and at-risk children of under 21 years of age. The Covenant House offers training and skills for the young people residing in the shelter to assist in putting their lives in better order and assisting the children in choosing better life paths. The goal is to work with the children in developing self-confidence and a feeling of self-worth.
Fundraising event organizers frequently call upon local printing companies to assist in preparing marketing and informational materials for events of this type. Banner printing is useful to denote locations and traffic direction for the event. Flyer printing helps to develop awareness and interest, since flyers and posters can be hung on walls and pillars to attraction attention from people passing by.
Tickets are $49 and are on sale now. They can be purchased online through the event’s website.
