Conroe’s 60+ Dance Club hosts Day of Peace Dance

September 10, 2012 by

The 60+ Dance Club in Conroe will soon be presenting a Day of Peace Dance at the Friendship Center located at 1202 Callahan Ave.

The Friendship Center offers support, advocacy, and senior adult services for Montgomery County residents. The mission is to help seniors remain active, independent, and part of the community.

The Friendship Center welcomes volunteers to help provide ongoing services for the senior community in the region. As the center is a non-profit organization, donations are always welcome and appreciated as well.

Special guest performer Ralphie and The Doo Way Days will keep the energy flowing and the toes tapping. Several other music genres will be featured, including Big Band Sound, Country & Western, and Golden Oldies. Line dances and mixers will also be part of the evening’s fun. Senior couples and singles are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Recreational organizations and clubs will often utilize printing services from local printing companies to help advertise events like this. Activities can be promoted well through flyer printing or poster printing. These materials are relatively inexpensive, can be printed in large quantities, and are easily distributed. They can be placed strategically throughout a neighborhood or city, drawing attention to the event activity contained.

The event will take place on September 21from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm, with the admission price set at $3. Regular dance activities are scheduled monthly at the Conroe 60+ Dance Club. Visit its website or contact 281-440-3362 for a schedule and more information.
