BMWs and Mini-Coopers set to rev it up

A chance to party with a famous radio host, as well as win great prizes, is just enough for many contestants to enter into the Revitup Road Rally later this year.

Hosted by the Montgomery County Habitat for Humanity, the road rally is a perfect opportunity for a selection of teams of two to four people, perhaps from nearby locations such as Conroe and the Woodlands, to have fun and benefit a cause at the same time. Poster printing will probably be a very well-practiced service, as well as banner printing for advertisement purposes. With enough work put into getting the word out for the rally, one may expect to see a plethora of guests attend both the road rally and the party at the finish line.

Dana Tyson, of Houston’s Sunny 99.1, will be the emcee of this year’s rally. During the event, she will be giving away prizes to winning teams and guests. Those that are to be a participant in the road rally will have their skills on observation tested throughout the event, while completing a task at each and every check point.

Registration to participate in the rally, which is scheduled for Saturday, October 6, is $220 for every 2-4 person team. This includes a meal and a shirt. Drivers who wish to participate must be no younger than 25 years of age. A $55 entry fee is applied to those who only want to participate in the party at the finish line, with proceeds from the event going to the Women Build project. Please visit the Montgomery County Habitat for Humanity homepage for more information.
