April is shaping up to be an exciting month for Cedar Park, with some big events planned at Elizabeth Milburn Community Park, located off Sunchase Blvd, including an Easter celebration and a Heritage Festival.

The fun begins on April 1, as the Easter Egg-Stravaganza will be held at the park, beginning at 2:00PM. For children 12 and under, the Egg-Stravaganza will be an exciting event, with an Easter Egg Hunt for more than 79,000 pieces of candy and other prizes. The Easter Bunny himself will be making an appearance, and anyone with a camera can get a picture with the bunny until 2:45.

In addition, the Cedar Park Heritage Festival will be held on Saturday, April 14, also at Milburn Park, from 4-9PM. The festival will feature live country music, dancing, a washer tournament and corn on the cob eating contest. For the kids, there will be a petting zoo and pony rides, carnival games, face painting, and more. The Championship Hamburger Cook-Off will be an exciting event as well, and since entry in the contest is free, there is sure to be a lot of competition.

Flyer printing and banner printing are a great way to advertise for such events, so these services are sure to be in demand as preparations are under way. Volunteers are still needed for both events, so anyone interested in helping out should check out the event pages on Cedar Park’s website for more info on volunteering and on contest entry for the Hamburger Cook-Off.
