Cedar Park opens season at Baylor’s McLane Stadium

The much anticipated season-opening game with Aledo will be even more of an attention getter. It has been announced that Cedar Park and Aledo, both Class 4A Division II winners, will be not only playing each other to open the season but will be doing so at Baylor’s new stadium.

The two teams will be going head to head in the first game to be played in the new McLane Stadium in Baylor. The teams will be giving the $250m venue a test run on August 29, two days prior to Baylor playing host Southern Methodist University. It will be a good run through for Baylor’s first home game with everything, including the PA system, video board, and lights being tested under game conditions.

Neither school is a stranger to playing in a large venue. Our Cedar Park team won its 2012 4A Division II title playing in Cowboys Stadium. Rivals Aledo won the same title there in 2013. Additionally, Cedar Park played in the Darrel K. Royal Stadium at the University of Texas on several occasions, the last of which was during the 2012 season playing Lake Travis.

The demands on a printing company often increase during a high school or college sports season due to schools and local businesses ordering programs, schedules, and promotional products.
