Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary celebrations held in Austin

The 2013 event Texas Running of the Bulls will be held in Austin, Texas later this month, providing a whole weekend of celebrations as Automobili Lamborghini marks its 50th anniversary.
The event hosts, Lamborghini Club Texas, is also celebrating 10 years of existence. Its lead event will take place at the Circuit of the Americas Formula 1 track. To celebrate 50 years of Lamborghini, a formal gala will be held on the Saturday, although the location for the gala is still to be confirmed.
Members of the Lamborghini club will have the opportunity to drive on the new track, ‘Circuit of the Americas’, in addition to being able to socialize with other members. Lamborghini enthusiasts are expected to arrive from all over the United States for the Texas Running of the Bulls event, since it is one of the main annual events for members of Lamborghini Club Texas and Lamborghini Club America.
There are strict requirements for anyone taking part in the track event at Circuit of the Americas, including safety gear and an inspection of the car. The organization also recommends insurance for track day, clothing suitable for the event ,and video equipment that can be mounted in the car.
The requirements and full details of the weekend itself will be displayed in event handouts, possibly printed by local stationery printers. The numbers for the Texas Running of the Bulls event are limited so early registration is recommended. A Concours Package is available for those who wish to spectate over the big weekend of March 22 – 24.
