Austin Convention Center hosts 2012 Bridal Expo
February 20, 2012 by Mark
On Sunday, March 25, the Austin Convention Center will host the 2012 Austin Bridal Expo. Discounted admission is available for brides and up to six guests for pre-registration; otherwise tickets will be $12 at the door or $10 online. Pre-registered brides will also obtain a free copy of Austin Bride Magazine upon admission.
The show will provide brides with an opportunity to try on both designer gowns and custom-made dresses from some of Austin’s best Bridal Shops, and to taste samples of amazing food and cake from local caterers. Austin’s best florists will also be in attendance, with fresh flowers in every color. Over 100 other displays will be available in everything from music—by both live musicians and DJ’s—to stationery printing for invitations and wedding announcements. Many wedding professionals will be offering prizes and gift certificates as well.
Brides-to-be can find more information on the expo as well as information on resources such as wedding planning professionals, reception sites, photographers and more on the Texas Wedding Mall website year-round; and for brides with later wedding dates, there will be a second Expo in Austin on Oct. 28, 2012. San Antonio will also be hosting Bridal Expos on Sunday, May 6 and Sunday, Nov. 4 at Retama Park.
Vendors can register on the Texas Wedding Mall website to advertise their services on the site, and to attend the Expo with a display. Registered clients can also get discounts on booth pricing. Each year brides review vendors for the Top Choice Award, so the friendly competition will most likely bring out the best in every field. Hundreds of brides are expected to attend, so it will definitely be a great opportunity to increase exposure.
