August 25, 2012 by Sarah
Tonight, August 25, the North Texas Chapter of the American Theatre Organ Society will be presenting Summer Sizzle 2 at the McKinney Performing Arts Center in the Historic Collin County Courthouse in McKinney, Texas. This event runs from 7:30 pm until 9:30 pm.
Summer Sizzler 2 features a collection of everything from pop to classic music, featuring both nationally-renowned and local talent, and plans to mix up a great cocktail party and delight the auditory and visual senses on a warm summer evening. This evening’s exciting line up of performers includes a young and exciting musician named Brett Valliant, as well as Danny Wesley Ray, who is a Dallas composer and musician. There will also be a variety of musicians from the North Texas region to round out what promises to be an exciting evening. Attendance to this event is limited to 100.
The North Texas Chapter of the American Theatre Organ Society’s mission is to preserve, maintain, and restore theatre organs and to enhance and promote organ music. This is a non-profit organization that promotes the organ’s sound to people who enjoy music from the keyboard-based instrument, regardless of whether they play an instrument themselves or not.
Poster printing and flyer printing may have been used to advertise and promote this great cocktail event to the resident of the community and outlying areas. To find out further details and admission costs to this performance, please visit the NTC-ATOS website, or contact Donald H. Peterson during normal business hours at 214-870-8982.
