April is sure to be an exciting month for Allen kids, as the Saturday Night Rec & Roll program has some great events planned. For parents, Saturday Night Rec & Roll is a great opportunity for a date or even just a little shopping while the kids are out.
Saturday Night Rec & Roll is a social program for kids, with events scheduled on Saturday nights throughout the school year, from 7-11pm, with supervision and concessions provided. To participate, each child needs an ID card, these can be purchased for five dollars and used throughout the school year. In addition, registration each week costs between eight and fourteen dollars. Semester Memberships are also available to save the hassle of pre-registering each week.
The fun begins on April 7, with a kickball tournament. A door prize night follows on the 14th, with fun prizes and a bouncy slide, and a sock hop on the 21st. Each night, kids can enjoy dance music by a DJ, gym dances, contests and theme nights, dodge ball, pool, foosball, air hockey and table tennis. Most of the games are free, and the small rental fees required for a few of the games are returned as long as the equipment is turned in in good condition. All in all, it’s an affordable, fun program kids are sure to enjoy.
Poster printing and flyer printing are great ways to promote programs like this, and to advertise upcoming events, so printing services are sure to be in demand throughout the school year. Parents can also find more information on Saturday Night Rec& Roll’s events and registration info on the City of Allen’s website calendar.
