Melodic Music in the Canyon

On Sunday, March 4th, 2012 Sabino Canyon will play host to his year’s Music in the Canyon event. This event is held in Sabino Canyon located on at the end of Sabino Canyon Road, in Tucson, arizona. This canyon is located in The Santa Catalina foothills and it has stunning vista and a world of natural beauty including running creek waters, rugged backdrops, and stunning sunrises and sunsets. This musical event will take place from 12 pm to 4 pm and everyone is welcome to attend.
This year’s event is in honor of the 100 year anniversary for Arizona’s statehood and the performances will include traditional music with Tucson’s High Mariachi Ariztlan, Lazy S Gang’s more traditional western-style music, as well as Native American dancers from the Redhouse Dancers. Cadillac Mountain will play traditional blue grass music and there will be raffles and prizes provided by local hotels and businesses.
This event will also feature unlimited children’s’ activities as well as a wide variety of local foods. Vendors will be available with an assortment of local artisan’s products. These make wonderful gifts and are usually quite reasonable. This event is for the whole family, so pack up the children and head down to Sabino Canyon for fun under the sun. Don’t forget your sunglasses, sun screen, and a hat.
