Scottsdale to make a smash in pumpkin party

October 29, 2012 by

A fine way to end the month in Scottsdale will be through the Pumpkin Festival put on to celebrate the harvest season at MacDonalds Ranch. This is an outstanding family event that offers something for everyone, no matter what their age. There will be an exciting array of activities, a pumpkin picking, and vendors selling an assortment of food and beverage items.

The Pumpkin Festival is an annual event hosted at the Ranch, providing families with the opportunity to come out and share a great day together. As part of the entertainment, there are horse and mule hayrides into the pumpkin patch to select the perfect pumpkin for Halloween’s home carving. Also part of the fun are pony rides, a petting zoo featuring a number of friendly animals, horse shoe pits, and roping of a steer head. There is also a hay maze, cowboy golf, and a gem mine where attendees can seek some great treasure. A discounted admission is available for all those who bring a canned food gift to assist the Desert Mission Food Bank.

Flyer printing and poster printing may have been used to promote this fantastic fun day to families in this community and surrounding communities. Admission is $8 per person, or $7 per person with canned donation. Children under the age of one are admitted free.

The festival is coming up this Wednesday, October 31, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm at MacDonalds Ranch in Scottsdale, arizona. For additional details, please visit the MacDonalds Ranch website or call the office at 480-585-0239 during open hours.
