Independence Day country concert coming to Scottsdale

June 18, 2013 by

Country music fans from the Scottsdale area are invited to kick off their Fourth of July with a concert featuring some of the genre’s rising stars. The night before Independence Day, a number of emerging artists will be in town to perform at the Salt River Fields at Talking Stick. Flyer printing has likely been on the rise as the organizers of this summer music festival work to increase public awareness of the event.

Performers at the concert will include Brantley Gilbert, who won the title of Top New Male Artist from the Academy of Country Music earlier this year. His special guests will include Tyler Farr and the LoCash Cowboys, who will also favor the crowd with live renditions of their hit songs.

The Independence Day Music Festival has become somewhat of a tradition in Scottsdale. Last year, performers included Miranda Lambert, Edens Edge, and Darius Rucker. In 2011, Blake Shelton and American Idol contestant Crystal Bowersox were the stars of the show.

A variety of vendors will be at the stadium to sell food and drinks. There will be a traditional fireworks display after the concert.

Attendees may call (800) 745-3000 to purchase tickets for this July 3 event. They may opt for stadium seating or pay a smaller fee to sit on the lawn. Suites and VIP seats will also be available.

Salt River Fields stadium is located at 7555 North Pima Road, and the gates will open at 5:00 pm. There will be a parking fee of $10.
