Prospective chefs from the central arizona area are encouraged to stop by Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts’ campus in Scottsdale for a special food demonstration and informational session.

In just under three weeks’ time, the school will be hosting the International Cuisine Spectacular and Open House event. Those who plan to attend may be updating their digital business cards and résumés as they prepare to meet with admissions counselors and discuss how they can begin their careers in the restaurant industry.

Professional cooks and bakers who regularly teach classes at the college will be on hand to prepare entrées and desserts from around the globe. Attendees will have a chance to sample these dishes, ask questions, and receive general cooking tips. They will also take a full tour of Le Cordon Bleu’s commercial-style kitchen.

After the food demonstration, visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the culinary school’s admissions process. Counselors will advise attendees about degree options, enrollment dates, financial aid, and possible scholarship opportunities.

Interested parties will be welcome to bring relatives and friends with them to the event. There will be no charge to attend, but those who would like to participate should RSVP early as space will be limited.

The International Cuisine Spectacular and Open House will begin on Saturday, August 10 at 10:30 am. Those who wish to reserve their spots should call (888) 557-4222 or (480) 990-3773.

Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts is located at 8100 East Camelback Road, Suite 1001.
