World Baseball Classic about to strike to Phoenix

The World Baseball Classic will soon be touching down in the Phoenix area.

Next month, sports fans from the United States and abroad will travel to arizona to watch top athletes compete in this international tournament. Printing services will likely be used to create programs, posters, and banners for the event.

This round of the Baseball Classic will feature teams representing the United States, Canada, Italy, and Mexico. The U.S. roster will include a number of well-known Major League Baseball players, such as Joe Mauer, Mark Teixeira, and David Wright.

The Classic will officially begin in Japan on March 2 and end in San Francisco on March 19. A total of 39 baseball games will be played in various countries around the world. The Arizona leg of the competition will run between March 7 – 10 and consist of six games.

Two of these games—one between Italy and Mexico on March 7 and the other between Canada and Italy on March 8—will take place at the Salt River Fields at Talking Stick. The remaining four games will be held at Chase Field, the home of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Here, the U.S. team will play Mexico, Italy, and Canada on March 8, 9, and 10 respectively. The Canadian and Mexican teams will also play each other on March 9.

The top two teams from the Phoenix round of the Baseball Classic will have the opportunity to play again in Miami. Tickets for all of the Arizona games may still be purchased online.
