March 27, 2012 by

From Friday, April 6th until Sunday, April 15th, 2012 Valley Vista High School will be presenting “Cheaper by the Dozen”. Performances for this event are Friday and Saturday evenings at 7pm, and Sunday afternoons at 2pm. Valley Vista High School is located at 15550 N. Parkview Place Surprise in Phoenix, arizona.

This play “Cheaper by the Dozen” is an adaptation by Christopher Sergel and is raging comedy adapted from the film, of the same name. Anne, the main character, is a pretty high school student and a member of a rather large family. The father of this family is a great model of efficiency and decides to adapt his skills to running his newly formed household. The story tackles how Anne feels about her family to outsiders, most especially the boys she has an interest in dating. This play examines how large families and individual children interact with each other, plus how outsiders view big families.

This comedy features the most hilarious combination of events that will keep the viewers rolling in their seats. Escapes by the children, as well as results and punishments by the parents, will keep the audience entertained the entire evening. This play is being presented by Ghostlight Theatre.

With every performance by Ghostlight Theater such a roaring success, local print companies have no doubt rolled into action to prepare the programs, tickets, and any stationery printing, such as poster printing, flyer printing and banner printing. Tickets are now on sale, with prices ranging between $12 and $18 depending on seating selection. For additional information, or to reserve tickets, please call 623-252-5127.
