Renowned circus set to wow crowds in Phoenix

A famous circus show is about to make a stop in the area. During the last week of June, Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey will be arriving in town to perform their highly-acclaimed “Built to Amaze!” spectacular for central arizona residents. Poster printing is almost certainly on the rise as the employees at US Airways Center prepare to host the big event.

The performance is part of the ‘Greatest Show on Earth’. This will be the 143rd year for the legendary exhibition, which sets out to dazzle audiences of all ages. The event in Phoenix will include acts from tightrope walkers, dancers, and clowns. Trained exotic animals, such as elephants, tigers, and monkeys will also be on hand to impress the crowd with their talents.

The fun will actually begin one hour before the ringmaster and performers take the stage. Attendees will have an opportunity to venture onto the circus floor during an ‘All Access Pre-Show’ and learn tricks, have their photographs taken with the clowns, and mingle with the acrobats. There will also be a raffle. One of the performing elephants will paint a picture with its trunk for the lucky circus-goer who is declared the winner.

The circus will run from Wednesday, June 26 through Monday, July 1. It will offer multiple show times on the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of its duration.

US Airways Center is located at 201 East Jefferson Street. Ticket prices, which include admission to the pre-show, start at $15. Those interested in purchasing tickets may call (800) 745-3000.
