Phoenix in for a “spooktacular” Halloween
September 14, 2013 by Mark
Holiday enthusiasts from the Phoenix area will soon be congregating for a spook-filled extravaganza. During the last weekend of September, the second annual Keen Halloween event will be taking place inside of the Sano Fitness Studio. Catalog printing may be in higher demand as participating vendors prepare to inform attendees about all of the festive products they have to offer.
Keen Halloween will provide individuals and families with fresh decorating and costume ideas to make their October 31 celebrations more unique and exciting. A number of craftsmen and artists will be on hand at the Monster Market to sell custom-made jewelry, paintings of witches and goblins, and fun yet frightful decor for attendees’ houses and yards. Full costumes will be available for purchase for adults and children alike.
The event will also feature a variety of Halloween-related workshops. Most of these will focus on craft-making and makeup tips. Other workshops will offer discussions on the history of myths and monsters, as well as lectures about reportedly haunted places in arizona. A dance class and costume competition are also on the schedule.
Keen Halloween is set for Saturday, September 28 and Sunday, September 29. It will be open from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm on the Saturday and from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm on the Sunday. Prospective attendees may purchase tickets upon arrival at the event or in advance through the Keen Halloween website.
The Sano Fitness Center is located at the Metrocenter Mall (9617 North Metro Parkway West).
