Gilbert ranch to hold the pick of fall festivals

September 10, 2013 by

Residents of Gilbert and other Phoenix area communities are being encouraged to celebrate the fall season by taking part in a series of festivities at a local agricultural and equestrian center.

Toward the end of this month, Welcome Home Ranch will begin hosting its annual PumpkinFest. The venue is no doubt taking advantage of professional printing services to design promotional flyers for this family-friendly event.

PumpkinFest will offer activities for attendees of all ages. Small children will enjoy running through a corn maze, riding ponies, and visiting the petting zoo, while older visitors will be able to ride a mechanical bull, climb a rock wall, and attempt a Euro bungee jump. In the spirit of Halloween, the ranch will also be offering a haunted house filled with ghostly figures, spooky cobwebs, and mysterious noises.

For the first time, Welcome Home Ranch will be opening a pumpkin patch for its guests. Attendees will be able to peruse the fields in search of their own pumpkins, but will also have the option of choosing hand-selected pumpkins. Those picked will vary widely in size to accommodate even the youngest of pickers.

PumpkinFest will begin on Friday, September 27, and will be open regularly on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through October 27. It will also be open for Halloween on Thursday, October 31. Fees for the activities will vary, and food and drink will be sold on site.

Welcome Home Ranch is located at 26601 South Val Vista Drive. Those in need of additional details may call (480) 988-5092.
