Chandler’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular
June 9, 2012 by Sarah
On Wednesday, July 4th, the community of Chandler will be celebrating Independence Day at Tumbleweed Park located at 2250 South McQueen Road in Chandler, arizona. This festival runs from 4:00 pm to 10:30 pm.
The Chandler Lions Club and the City of Chandler, each year, hosts the Chandler 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular to help the community of Chandler celebrate America’s and Chandler’s heritage. This is a family event and everyone is welcome. During this spectacular, guests will enjoy live music, a free children’s carnival, a large bike parade, and a number of artisans and food vendors. Some of the activities include a dunk tank, water games, a 35-foot water slide, interactive amusement games, and a rock climbing wall. Guests are permitted to bring their own food, but the Lion’s Club ask that all beverages be purchased at the event. Parking is $5.00 for this event. Dogs are permitted at this event provided they are on a leash, although it is probably better to leave the pet at home as this can be stressful on it. Barbecues and open flames are not allowed in the park. All children’s games are complimentary and sponsored by the Lion’s Club. This is a great event for the whole family and the fireworks display, which begins at dusk, will be one everyone is sure to remember.
Flyer printing may have been used to remind the residents about this event. There is no cost associated with this sponsored event. For more information, please visit the Chandler 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular website, or call the Chandler Special Events Hotline at 480-782-2735.
