The city of Chandler will soon be hosting its second annual science and technology festival. Poster printing will likely be on the rise as the organizations involved work to get promotional and informational materials ready for display in time for the scheduled series of events.

On Wednesday, February13, local residents will have the opportunity to attend the ‘Chandler Tech Crawl’. Representatives from Intel, Air Products, and Chandler’s Innovations Incubator laboratories will be on hand at their workplaces to answer questions about the future of technology. These open houses will run from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm at 5000 West Chandler Boulevard, 275 South Price Road, and 145 South Seventy-Ninth Street, respectively.

Downtown Chandler will hold ‘A Night of Art and Science’ between 6:00 pm and 10:00 pm on the evening of Friday, February 15. Attendees will learn about the science behind the works of art, inventions, and food and drink that they encounter in their everyday lives.

On February 16, Chandler will close this year’s celebration of science and technology with a ‘Science Saturday’. This event will also take place in the city’s downtown area and will run between 10:30 am and 2:00 pm. Local technology companies will give demonstrations and invite the public to participate in various activities. There will also be a showcasing of area students’ work at the Chandler Center for the Arts.
