Make business connections in Memphis

The 4th Sunday Networking and Expo event takes place on the fourth Sunday of each month at the McNary Television Studio. Admission is free and business owners can rent booths to showcase their products and services.
The expo is aimed at small and home-based businesses, with one business owner featured each month. There will also be jazz music and refreshments to enjoy while business owners seek to expand their referral networks. It is suggested that those Memphis business owners who plan on attending bring a business card, printing extras in advance and contacting a print company would therefore be a wise move. They can also bring product or event flyers to pass out to those in attendance.
While a business card is a definitely necessity at any networking event, a lot more information can be included on a flyer and there are many ways in which the flyer can be distributed. Flyers are an inexpensive and very effective way of advertising, especially if bought in bulk. Once a flyer is printed and handed out at a networking event, it can then be distributed to the community either through direct mail or hand delivery. It can also be left at local community centers and public libraries, posted in approved areas throughout the city, and handed out on the street to passers-by.
An event like this is important to small businesses and especially to those who are home-based. It’s often hard for home-based businesses let people know about their business, so any chance to showcase their products in front of their business peers is immensely important.
