An invitation to invest in art for a good cause

The Memphis Botanic Garden is located on 96 acres and has 23 specialty gardens. It provides the community with many educational resources, including outreach programs, workshops for both adults and children, and several educational programs. The Garden is holding a unique fundraising event in January which will help to fund those programs.

The Incognito Art Gala and Silent Auction will feature the work of 80 artists. Each work will be unsigned and on display at the Botanic Garden throughout the month of January. These works will then be auctioned off and the winner will have his or her work of art signed by the artist during the gala celebration. In addition to the silent auction, appetizers and refreshments will be served to those in attendance, who will also have the chance to chat with the artists.

This event will be a chance to invest in and discover the work of a local artist. Plus, it will raise money for an important institution which educates the public on the beauty and importance of nature. There is no doubt that organizers of the gala will be working with Memphis printing companies to help get the word out about this unique auction. A flyer sent to everyone in the Memphis area will help ensure that as many people as possible know about the event.

The Incognito Art Gala and Silent Auction will take place at the Memphis Botanic Garden on January 18. Tickets are $25 for Garden members or $35 for non-members. For more information, such as times, call 901-636-4131.
