Popular fundraiser returns to Jackson

January 23, 2014 by

The 20th annual Blue Suede Spectacular Event is taking place in Jackson this February. It is a major fundraiser for the Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse.

The big draw for this year’s event is a concert by Three Dog Night, best known for their hit songs “Joy to the World” and “Mama Told Te Not to Come.” Guests will be able to purchase tickets for the concert only.

The major fundraiser of the night is the gala dinner. It is set to feature silent and live auctions, a sit down dinner and entertainment. It is always a very popular event and currently tables for eight are sold out completely.

Sponsorships are available from $800 to $5,200 or advertisements in the event program run from $100 for a business card sized ad or $600 for a full-page ad.

Programs are an important part of most special events; they not only tell people what is happening but they also serve as a souvenir of the evening. Jackson brochure printers are often asked to provide such items for such events; they are relatively inexpensive which means more money goes to the charity.

The event will be held at the Carl Perkins Civic Center on February 22. Tickets are $100 each. Tickets for the Three Dog Night are $40 for reserved seating and $25 for one or $80 for four general admission tickets. To find out more about the event, contact Stephanie Isaacs at 731-668-4000.
