Help Grow the Jackson Chamber of Commerce

The Still Rocking the Chamber 2012 Business Expo will take place at the Carl Perkins Civic Center from 4-7 pm on May 1st. In addition to exhibits from chamber members, the event hopes to convince local business leaders to become members of the chamber.
Many chamber members dress the part by dressing up in rock and roll costumes. Individuals and teams compete for who can get the most people to join the chamber. They are given awards such as Top Dogs, Most Enthusiastic Group, Most Competitive Group and Top Group. It is an enjoyable way to grow the chamber membership and to make the community more aware of who they are and what they can do for local businesses.
A Chamber of Commerce offers many advantages to local businesses. They provide many opportunities to network with other business leaders, they offer training in everything from social media marketing to starting a business, the provide discounts of many business services and they hold many social events throughout the year, many raising funds for local charities.
Printing companies can help those who belong to the Jackson Chamber of Commerce by providing them with business card printing services. Most chambers have numerous networking events every month such as speed networking and business card exchanges. It helps the entire community when local businesses join together in referral networks; they can provide services for each other and become suppliers for each others business. They can also pass on secrets and advice, therefore helping other businesses become more successful.
