Celebrate wine and art in Jackson
June 16, 2012 by Mark
The 2012 Toast of Jackson will take place at the Jackson Fairgrounds on July 28 from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the gate for this presentation by the Exchange Club of Jackson.
Toast of Jackson is a wine and fine art festival which highlights local and regional wines. Those who attend will get to sample and buy wine, taste food and wine pairings, and take part in wine and food seminars. Local artists and craftspeople will also be showcasing and selling their works during the event. There will be all sorts of art available, including paintings, prints, clay creations, and glass works.
Vendors can rent a booth for $100, which includes a table and two chairs. Jackson printing companies can help them to prepare for the event by featuring services such as banner printing to those vendors. Hanging a colorful banner from their table will draw attention to what they are selling and will most likely attract more paying customers. Artists should also invest in business cards to help grow their business, as a business card can include a sample of their arts either as a logo or on the back of the card.
When we think of wine, we often think of France, Australia, or Southern California. However, there are some fine wines created all over the world and Tennessee is no different, with several well-received wine companies in the region. The Toast of Jackson is the perfect opportunity for the general public to be introduced to those wines and to appreciate their quality.
