Myrtle Beach, South Carolina has been a popular vacation resort for many across the United States and abroad and, in particular, the Sands Resorts has found this year to be extremely profitable with special vacation packages that have enabled guest to rent a room or condo at the regular price and then get free admissions to many of the attractions in the area at no additional price. The Sands Hotel has used vast marketing campaigns that have not only include radio and television spots but printing services ranging from a variety of brochures and flyers to hanging posters in neighboring towns and throughout the state as well as neighboring states.

Their slogan is “Rent the Condo and Get the Rest for Free” as it enables guests to pay only for the rental of their accommodations and then gain free admission to many local attractions that include Wild Water and Wheels, The Adventure Camp at Diamond Back and the Getaway Adventure Cruise. The Sands Hotel also offers many additional attractions on its property and these too are free to guests. These include a waterpark, weekly fireworks, health clubs, magic shows, programs for children, a Hall of Heroes and live entertainment.

The CEO of the Sands Resorts, Lee Rawcliffe, has reported that the free offerings can amount to as much as $500 in savings to families and has helped to build the business of the Resort to build a growing clientele of repeat customers. He claims the marketing campaign has been extremely successful for the 2011 year and will continue to grow in the year 2012. Discounts to such activities as golf, entertainment and shopping will also be offered making a vacation on the beach more affordable to a wider range of visitors.
