Fireworks to return to Patriots Point

Patriots Point in Mt. Pleasant recently announced that it has begun planning its annual celebration of July 4th with a fireworks display that is set to be one of the most spectacular in South Carolina, and premier seating on the flight deck of the USS Yorktown for viewing the event. No doubt Patriots Point is using poster printing and flyer printing to attract as many people as possible and build excitement for the celebration.

Those who get tickets for seating on the Flight Deck will be able to get access to the USS Yorkton starting at 6:00 pm and purchase catered food and beverages. There will also be activities and live musical performances for the kids.

The fireworks display will begin after sunset and feature firework shells from the Cooper River, where a barge will be located. Visitors can also bring lawn chairs, but they will not be able to bring their own food.

Landside seating will also be available at no charge, with food and beverages available from local vendors. The kids will be able to enjoy live music and entertainment as well. There will be a fee for parking for each car parked at Patriots Point.

According to Mac Burdette, Executive Director of Patriots Points, about 40,000 residents of the Lowcountry and visitors come to the July 4th celebrations alongside some of the most historic warships in the nation. He added the City of Charleston, the Town of Mt. Pleasant, and Stevens Towing and Parker Rigging help to support the celebration and make it possible.
