Decade celebration for Old Village Post House

May 10, 2013 by

Next week, from Monday, May 13, through Friday, May 17, the Old Village Post House, a restaurant and historic inn located in the center of the historic district of Mt. Pleasant, will be celebrating 10 years of operation.

No doubt flyer printing and poster printing are being used by the tavern and inn to announce this event to residents and travelers as a variety of specials will be offered to customers.

During its birthday celebrations lasting five days, different birthday presents will be offered to guests. Some of these that will be included are discounts on bottled wines, a three-course meal for $30, various raffles and birthday cake. The winners of the presents for each evening will be announced on the Facebook and Twitter pages of the Post House.

In addition, there will be dinner specials of an historic nature provided by Chef de Cuisine Forrest Parker and Executive Chef Frank Lee. They have also created a celebratory cocktail they named ‘10’ that will be on the wine and cocktail menu for guests to drink.

The venue is nestled among the historic buildings and gardens of the historic Old Village of Mt. Pleasant with its old oak and harbor-side homes going back many centuries. In addition to its hospitality and appetizing fare, the Old Village Post House has six historic and comfortable rooms with a choice of style and size. The rooms provide accommodations with double, queen, and king-sized beds, as well as two suites with separate bedroom and sitting areas and over-sized bathrooms.
