Many seasonal events are taking place in Greenville during the month of December and most likely the various organizations and sponsors of the events are using a variety of printing services to make those in the community know that these occasions are happening.
At the Courtyard Greenville Downtown, the Hyatt Regency Downtown, and the Hampton Inn and Suites RiverPlace, there will be the St. Francis Festival of Trees from now until January 1. All proceeds from this festival will go to benefit the Mack Pazdan Neonatal Care Center at Eastside. As part of the festivities, there will be a Teddy Bear Luncheon on December 7 and a Holiday Brunch on December 8.
The Peace Center will also be hosting several events with a performance on December 10 of an Appalachian Christmas with Mark O’Connor & Friends. On December 17, ‘Home for Christmas’ by the Celtic Woman all-female voice ensemble will be viewable. For the kids, the Nutcracker will be opening on December 6.
From December 5 to 7, the TD Convention Center will be hosting the Holiday Fair for the 43rd year. There will be more than 300 craftspeople from 15 states, and it will be a place to pick up gifts, crafts, and arts for the holidays.
This Friday, December 6, there will be the Jingle Bell Run and Walk at the CU-ICAR Millennium campus. A 5K race, participants are encouraged to wear jingle bells on their shoelaces and a costume with a holiday theme, with proceeds from the race benefiting the fight against arthritis.
Finally, the Greenville Poinsettia Christmas Parade will be held this Saturday, December 7, at 6:00 pm.
