Greenville Chamber to hold several “can’t miss” events
February 8, 2012 by Mark
With workshops, debates, and networking events, the Greenville Chamber of Commerce is giving its members plenty of room to grow and learn this February.
Beginning with a 2 part presentation entitled “Building Effective Boards”, members are invited to attend both parts so they can learn about the crucial roles that board directors play in the running of a non-profit organization. Priced at $50 for members and $75 for non-members, the information being given in this workshop is worth dropping in for on both the 16th and the 23rd.
Following the presentation taking place on the 21st, Greenville business owners and professionals are encouraged to bring their business card printing to a Business After Hours meet-up. Taking place from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, this is yet another mixer that community entrepreneurs will want to make time for.
From the perspective of local professionals, however, the month culminates in the 2012 Human Resources Law Update that’s being held February 28th. With a starting time of 8:15 am and an expected conclusion of around 5:00 pm, entrepreneurs and professionals will be hearing qualified speakers discuss the issues that impact those working in Human Resources the most.
Just a single glance at the chamber website reveals a long list of presentation, host, and gold sponsors whose contributions made this event possible. The exposure that’s already being received via recognition is already being seen in the preparation stages.
Judging from the full calendar and the information-filled events being sponsored, the Greenville Chamber of Commerce is providing for its members this month.
