Law firm opened by two female attorneys

April 5, 2013 by

Jessica Christophillis and Amanda Gallivan recently opened a new law firm in Greenville, South Carolina, just north of Anderson, which focuses on estate planning, family law, criminal defense, and litigation.

Business card printing is likely to be in order to make those in the area aware of the services the duo is now providing. The two law professionals are accepting new clients in the Upstate region of the state.

Among the schools Christophillis attended are the Darla Moore School of Business and the School of Law at the University of South Carolina. She was also enrolled at the School of Law at Northwestern University in their Master’s program. Her career was started at Tucker Wells Medical where she helped small business owners in their planning strategies. Most recently, she was employed at PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP as an associate where her focus was on tax compliance and legal issues for LLCs, individuals, partnerships, and corporations.

Gallivan, meanwhile, graduated from the same schools as Christophillis and her career in law began working for the Honorable Roger L. Couch in the seventh circuit as a judicial clerk, followed by working as an assistant solicitor in the same circuit, focusing on prosecuting criminal offenses. In private practice, her focus has been on domestic and civil matters and has included such issues as defense, civil claims, custody, and divorce issues.

The new firm, called Christophillis & Gallivan P.A., can be found on N. Main Street for those looking for legal assistance.
