Raleigh to welcome new burger restaurant

Wahlburgers is going to open a location in Raleigh soon, according to an article on the WRAL website.
The company recently leased a space in a downtown high-rise, The Hudson, which is on Fayetteville Street. Wahlburgers’ CEO, Rick Vanzura, said downtown Raleigh is experiencing economic growth and boasts a dynamic group of restaurants, shops and other attractions that make it an ideal location for the new venture. He added that Wahlburgers is looking forward to serving what he calls a “diverse and thriving neighborhood”.
Wahlburgers is a family business that was begun in Boston by Chef Paul Wahlberg. Wahlberg was inspired by his memories of his father making barbeque on the grill, and by his homemade French fries, and wanted to provide the same kind of comfort food to his customers.
He teamed up with family members, including his brothers, who are actor-rappers Donnie and Mark Wahlberg, to open a family-friendly restaurant that appeals to diners of all ages.
The menu is fairly small and concentrates on items such as hamburgers, salads, and sides like mac ‘n cheese, chili, tater tots, onion rings, and soups. The location comprises 5,470 square feet, and will offer both a dining room and counter service, as well as a small section where patrons can purchase Wahlburgers-branded items such as T-shirts.
The restaurant is slated to open early in 2017. Companies like this can benefit by working with banner printing companies to celebrate their openings.
