The Springfield Golf Course in Fort Mill, just a short drive from Pineville, has recently partnered with the First Tee of Charlotte to offer after school golf lessons and classroom instruction about core values, including respect, responsibility, honesty, confidence, and sportsmanship.

Most likely the First Tee of Charlotte, which is a development organization for youth that uses the game of golf to build character and promotes healthy choices, has turned to a variety of printing services to announce the expansion of its programs.

Leroy Springs & Co is the non-profit provider of recreation that operates the Springfield Golf Course and three other golf courses in South Carolina, and its president Tim Patterson, commented that his organization is happy to work with First Tee to help the lives of today’s youth. First Tee gets kids outside for some exercise and fresh air while at the same time teaching strong life skills.

The Springfield Golf Course is located in an area with wooded landscapes and stream views, and has a classic clubhouse with a 1920s design from the Golden Age of Architecture in golf.

The First Tee of Charlotte is planning an expansion to the schools in Fort Mill and to all 111 schools in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg school district, of which Pineville is a part, during the next academic year. It celebrated its 10thanniversary last year.
